Fort Worth now has more than one million residents, by the Census Bureau's estimate. About a third of its homes were built before 1980. Around Ryan Place, in ZIP code 76110, about half the homes went up before 1950. Older houses like these mean kitchen remodels and roof tear-offs, and that debris needs a place to go.
Dump 1 Dumpster Rental is based in Burleson, and we deliver to Fort Worth from there. The south and southwest side is the closest part of the city, a short run up I-35W or FM 731. We drop 30 yard dumpsters and 40 yard dumpsters on our own roll-off trucks. Call (817) 888-5815 for same-day delivery when you need it, or a scheduled drop day.
Tell us the address, the size and the drop day. We will get right back to you.
Fort Worth's city limits reach to within a few miles of Burleson. Deer Creek, just off I-35W, is about 5 to 6 miles from Burleson. Hallmark-Camelot is about 8 miles up the same highway.
Summer Creek and Hulen Heights, on the far southwest side, are about 10 miles by FM 731 and Risinger Road. Chisholm Trail Ranch is about 11 miles, by way of the Chisholm Trail Parkway.
Candleridge and Wedgwood are about 11 to 13 miles up I-35W. Ryan Place, on the near south side, is about 13 miles. Westcliff and Tanglewood, near TCU, are about 14 to 16 miles, and downtown is about 15. Past the city limits, we also deliver to Everman and the Rendon area.
In ZIP code 76133, home to Wedgwood and Candleridge, more than half the homes were built before 1980. The same goes for ZIP code 76109, around TCU. A kitchen gut or a roof tear-off on a house that age fills a dumpster fast. Our residential dumpster rental page covers home cleanouts and remodels.
The far southwest side is newer. In ZIP code 76123, around Summer Creek, about a third of the homes were built in 2010 or later. Newer homes still fill a can on moving day or during a garage cleanout.
Fort Worth grew by more than 100,000 residents from 2020 to 2025, by Census estimates. Builders and roofers can find jobsite details on our construction dumpster rental page. Property managers and businesses can read about tenant turnovers on our commercial dumpster rental page.
In Fort Worth, we set cans on private property: the driveway, or the backyard if a truck can reach it. City code requires a written permit before building material or rubbish blocks a street or sidewalk. Alleys fall under the same rule. Tell us the driveway length when you call, so the can stays off the sidewalk.
That permit is a temporary street use permit from the city's Transportation and Public Works department. The city asks for at least 3 to 5 business days of lead time. Its requirements include a certificate of insurance listing the city and a traffic control plan.
A separate daily encroachment charge applies when the street or sidewalk stays blocked more than three days. Many southwest subdivisions, such as Summer Creek and Candleridge, also have homeowners associations. Check with your HOA and your city before a can goes in the street. We will talk it through when you call.
Paint and chemicals stay out of our dumpsters, because every load goes to the dump. Ask before you load anything you are unsure about.
Fort Worth residents can take paint and household chemicals to the city's Environmental Collection Center. Bring a current water bill or a valid driver's license as proof you live in the city. The center takes household waste only, not business waste. The city's drop-off stations also take household chemicals, in limited amounts.
